Donated funds support health services for seniors and the disabled at one of the few remaining traditional medical centers in Tibet.
Dickey's Orphanage

Medical Film Project
An award-winning filmmaker is documenting the lives of a remarkable family of Lhasa physicians across seven generations. The new film highlights the lineage's dedication to preserving, teaching, and practicing the ancient art of Tibetan medicine today.
Scholarship Program
We help send Tibetan students to medical school. The goal is to improve medical care within Tibet and preserve traditional Tibetan medical knowledge throughout the world.
Publication Project
Donations contribute to the printing and distribution of Tibetan medical texts. They also support translations of ancient texts into modern language.
The Nyerongsha Institute is a tax-exempt, non-profit, charitable organization [501 (c)(3)]. Your contributions to these projects are tax deductible. You will receive a receipt for your donation.

As many of you may know, I have begun visiting Tibet on a yearly basis to visit with my family and to oversee a number of special projects that have been created to help Tibetans who live there. Your fees are already helping these efforts: for every Tibetan medical appointment, $8 of the consultation fee is donated to these programs.
If you have a special interest in any of these projects, please contact us for more details. You might even have the opportunity to visit Tibet personally in order to see these programs in action.
The Nyerongsha Institute also welcomes special contributions of any amount. Feel free to specify the project(s) to which your contribution should be directed. Donations are tax deductible. A receipt and tax information will be sent to you.
